Annual Surveys
Our engineers are qualified to carry out annual surveys for our marine customers based across the globe, including Safety Radio Surveys such as SSAS, AIS and EPIRB’s, for NKK, DNV, GL and ABS class societies. Installation and Commissioning
Satcom Global engineers are available at short notice to install and commission satellite communications solutions as well as security, navigation and safety equipment, from single systems to large complex installations. Furthermore, should our customers be faced with repairing a system that is considered beyond economical repair and is no longer supported by the manufacturer, our helpful team are also qualified to source, supply and fit retrofit solutions as a suitable alternative matching the same specification or higher. Through a process of consultation and evaluation with our customers, Satcom Global provides innovative turnkey solutions focusing on best value and technical specification for maritime application. Managed Maintenance Contracts
Stay up to date with requirements for on-board safety by working with our team to ensure you are fully compliant with SOLAS regulations for GMDSS. As suppliers of shore based managed maintenance contracts, our team issues certificates to vessels which do not carry a full set of GMDSS spares and have a GMDSS trained maintenance officer on vessel. Satcom Global customers can benefit from remote support for vessels’ GMDSS equipment, as well as port attendances by approved agents to supply the vessel with spare parts and servicing.
Shot Blasting and Surface Maintenance Training
Satcom Global provides access to the very best bespoke shot blasting and airless spray painting training working with our expert partner SBAS Training. Providing the highest level of operator training at our facilities or your offshore or vessel workplace, Satcom Global can facilitate efficient maintenance training to help lower long-term costs and ensure longer lasting maintenance.
