We are delighted to announce that the world’s first dual mode satellite and LTE hotspot, the Thuraya WE, is now available to order from Satcom Global.
Setting it apart from other satellite hotspots, the Thuraya WE offers in-built functionality providing access to both satellite and GSM connectivity, ensuring coverage for internet, voice calling and SMS communications anywhere.
The Thuraya WE creates a Wi-Fi hub, allowing up to 10 smart devices to connect and share internet within a range of 30m, and users can enjoy generous data speeds of up to 384kbps in satellite mode.
As well as its high-performance capability, the Thuraya WE was designed with ease of use in mind, with the lightweight terminal allowing users to select an auto-switching mode during set up, to enjoy seamless satellite to GSM switchover for communications on the move.
The Thuraya WE is available from Satcom Global with a wide range of monthly subscription plans as well as prepay options, to meet the needs of both casual and more intense data users.
The portable nature of the Thuraya WE makes it an ideal companion for those on the move from a range of sectors including aid, media, utilities, adventure and more.
