Inmarsat Legacy Services Closure Dates

From 30th September 2014, Satcom Global will no longer be able to sell legacy services Inmarsat M, Inmarsat D+, Inmarsat B, GAN and Mini-M (excepting Mini-M for Aviation) to new customers. After this date, Inmarsat are ‘retiring’ the services meaning partners including Satcom Global will NOT be permitted to sell the service to new customers or allow any new activations, including pre-pay.

Satcom Global’s existing customers will be able to continue to use the service until its end of life (EOL), when the terminals associated with the retired services are deactivated on the network and the services are no longer available to customers. Alternatively, our team of experts will be on hand to assist customers migration to the recommended replacement services.

These newer services offer higher speeds, cost effective and flexible tariffs and superior quality, accessed through smaller and lighter terminals.
