Satcom Global was commissioned in 2012 to undertake a fire and gas detection project on Rowan Drilling's platform, the Rowan Gorilla VII.
The project included the design, supply and commissioning of an Autronica AutroSafe 4 integrated fire and gas detection system with AutroMaster presentation system for monitoring and management.
The system was engineered to meet DNV, NMD and NORSOK requirements. The value of the project for the UK based oil and gas platform was over £300,000.
